    You'd think/hope people would only buy stamps from Post Offices and so there would be no fear of getting fakes.

    I guess if some folks get theirs from back street shops or guys in pubs or whatever they must expect fakes to be likely.

    The Post Office said that fakes are often sold by small news agent shops.
    It means that the recipient is charged £2.00 for them to get the item.
