Bongos

These Bongos look like they have been marked liked those Butcher's charts. Seen at Longleat Safari Park.

      These are bongos, found in the forests of central Africa where the vertical stripes help camouflage them. There is another forest antelope, called a kudu (photo 16143) which has similar stripes on the body which we saw in Kenya, but it is smaller and nocturnal.
